What is Shelfmate?
Shelfmate was created to solve an issue that every RVer has experienced; products falling out of the fridge or cupboard after traveling down the road. This product can be used in outdoor kitchens, mini fridges, full sized fridges and cupboards to help prevent items from falling out after traveling. After you reach your destination, simply remove your Shelfmate, stack them up and store them away until you’re ready to head to your next destination.
Inventor, Tim Kirkendall and his wife have traveled across the continental US by way of RV for over 35 years. It was their goal to create something simple to solve this issue that was also easy to install and remove. After a few test runs, Tim created the perfect solution, and from that Shelfmate RV was born.
Hometown Made in the USA
It was important to Tim to keep Shelfmate manufactured within the USA. As a small business it was imperative to involve other local small businesses, friends and family in the creation of Shelfmate. Because of this, Shelfmate is 100% made in the USA!
How do you use Shelfmate?
Shelfmate is designed to be installed underneath the food in your refrigerator or cabinets. After you close and lock the door prior to travel, the Shelfmate stays in place from the weight of the food sitting on it, forming a barrier to keep things from moving while in travel mode. Once you reach your destination, Shelfmate can be easily removed to allow easy access to all items.
